I am a Chicago area portrait and wedding photographer who combines a traditional formal photographic education, over 20 years of technical photography experience and my own creative vision to tell each clients unique story.
My interest in photography began over 25 years ago while serving as an Infantryman is the US Army's 101st Airborne Division. There, I always had a camera with me and would make photographs of the other soldiers in my unit.
After leaving the Army I began a career in Law Enforcement where I was able to combine my interest of photography with the criminal justice field by becoming a Crime Scene Investigator / Forensic Photographer. I spent 4 years as a full-time Death Investigator with the DuPage County Coroner’s office and another 17 years with a local police agency and county major crimes task force in the western suburbs of Chicago as a CSI / Forensic Photographer.
My formal education includes an Associate of Arts Degree in Photography Technology from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois.
